Program

A sanctuary is a sacred place, a haven, a place of safety. Stories are sacred in the meaning that they hold for us as individuals and as a community. In this workshop we will create a place were all are welcome and make theatre as a container for our sacred stories. 

​

New York City has been referred to as a sanctuary city. In these times of turmoil the need for safe spaces has grown and this language is appearing in many places. What makes a place safe? How can greater trust and presence be promoted in a time and space? This Saturday we will be inviting deep sharing and in the process, learn how to be essential components in the creation of sanctuaries for others.
